The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club

The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club offers players of all skill levels and abilities an ideal Pacific Northwest golf experience.  Opened in 1997, the 36-hole facility operates under a unique premise:  from the 1st through the 15th of each month, the John Fought-designed South Course is open for public play, while the Bob Cupp-designed North Course is available for members and their guests only.  From the 16th to the end of the month, the designation is reversed, giving daily fee players the opportunity to experience both courses on a regular basis.

The two courses offer a sharp contrast in both design and playability.  The South Course is known for its length (nearly 7,200 yards from the back tees) as well as its bunkering (over 100+ strategically placed bunkers dot the course), while the North Course emphasizes shotmaking and effective course management throughout its rolling terrain and long grass mounds.  The North Course boasts of the region’s only “triple-green” complex, as the putting surfaces for the 1st, 8th, and 17th holes converge to form a massive green complex, while the South Course offers two “double greens”, combining the putting surfaces of holes 3 and 5, as well as holes 11 and 17.

Located just twenty minutes west of Portland, The Reserve has played host to some of the region’s largest golf events, including the Fred Meyer Challenge (1998-2002), the JELD-WEN Tradition (2003-2006), and the Umpqua Bank Challenge (2012).  As a host venue, The Reserve has helped raise over $10 million for state and local charities.
